I just finished making this dolly for my Granddaughter Rebecca : she's nine months old and is now my "elder granddaughter" since the arrival of her baby cousin Erin! I'm really pleased with the way the dolly has turned out, I didn't use a pattern, just made it up as I went along and used up odd bits of fabric; I'll try to write out some instructions and add it to my website along with the files for the doll's face which is my own design/digitising. Love to all from Dianne x x x (http://hands-and-heart.bravehost.com )

This is such a cute doll! Sounds like you are going to have to make another one for baby Erin! *

I certainly will! I have decided to make her one for Christmas - with both girls celebrating their first Christmas and Rebecca's first birthday too (28th December) I have decided to not go overboard with expensive presents but add money to their savings accounts and just give simple presents this year. Love and a flower for you all from Dianne x x x

I love the cross over apron with your granddaughter's name and the way the straps cross over. The whole doll looks the sort of dolly any little girl would love.
