I just finished making this dolly for my Granddaughter Rebecca : she's nine months old and is now my "elder granddaughter" since the arrival of her baby cousin Erin! I'm really pleased with the way the dolly has turned out, I didn't use a pattern, just made it up as I went along and used up odd bits of fabric; I'll try to write out some instructions and add it to my website along with the files for the doll's face which is my own design/digitising.
