roses (my favorite flower) in it - one rose for each decade. Another son had a cake made decorated with yellow roses with black leaves (Iowa University colors - Hawkeyes). My daughter had a huge hanging basket of flowers. My 3rd son (oldest) was a special gift having him here from Colorado Springs - and the fact he is still alive after being so deathly ill for months. All this in addition to cash and gift certificates from each of them.

In addition I learned our preemie great-grandson may come home in a week or so. He is finally out of the woods. He had a few episodes where he stopped breathing. He was 8 weeks early.
