Oh gee, don't be so hard on yourself, I don't have any friends either, the only three girlfriends I had, have all passed, all way too young under 55, so, like you I come to my Cute friends who I know won't judge me but accept me as I am, as they can read the words from my heart, just as we do with you. It is difficult to make true friends these days, as so many people are shallow and two faced, they'd prefer to be wooed and pandered to and accept false compliments instead of genuine honesty when it is offered. I think there are many of us who can't deal with this kind of friendship on condition...

You deserve every flower. Here's another one for you. :-) You shouldn't need to change for 'friends.' You can't call them friends if you feel the need to change. Friends help you to be the person you are meant to be. That way you are your happiest. I hope that makes sense to you. Becoming who you should be should feel natural and freeing.
