Have you used this before? I really not up to speed about WSS - or much else for that matter. :o)

me either that is why i came to the experts someone gave me some wash and gone and i love it but looking and shopping around for more
go to Emblibrary and look how kenny works on their lace projects, he compares different wss, that is why I like vilene so much, solvy is goo to used on top, when you are doing towels, embroidering on felt, corduroy, etc.

MM, do you realize that you will be paying about 16 bucks for only 8 yards, 12 inches wide? that is not a very good deal, I pay 5.00 a yard for the vilene, including shipping, but it is 59 inches wide, so this is 36 inches by 59" wide for five dollars, and with the vilene you don't have to use so many layers as you do with solve, all my bookmarkers, etc., are done with only one layer of vilene.

I've used Badgemaster and it looks like you are embroidering on plastic baggies, kinda sounds like you would think a needle would sound like punching through tight plastic. I have never used more than 1 layer. It has worked fine for me. So has vilene. I've only used 1 layer of that too. I've never understood why people use more than 1 layer. *4u

I use badgemaster, but buy it from Shopper's Rule I pay $2.83 yard for it, but it is 30" wide, which when I did the math equates to .094 cents per inch. This offer is only 12" wide, and it works out of .125 cents per foot. If you do a calculation for this you would see that if you buy 4 yards of Badgemaster from Shopper's rule you would pay $11.32, but you would have 2 1/2 times of the stabilizer. I had this recommended to me by one of the leading digitizers of FSL. I had a terrible time trying to find it. I may need to find the link that mariahail uses - hers came out .085 cents per inch. we are all such bargain hunters.

will have to check shopper's Rule sound like they a have a good deal. Thanks
actually it is 29" wide, the one that I buy is 59" wide.
plus you will have to pay for SH
You are right. What you are using is a better deal, but good to have a choice. I just ordered some of the Vilene - and found that they are in Central Florida - wonder if they have a store?

Yes, you are completely right. I have got mine at allstich.net for about $3 a yard.
