I have the regular Brother pe700, I did not get the other one that plugs to the computer because I was afraid I was not know how to used it, or that my computer could brake down, etc., The only problem I had with this one is when the thread brakes and since the machine is pretty much seal sometimes I was not able to take it out, when that happened a few months ago, I had to pay over 100.00 to get "fix" well I was havving the same problem again this week, and read on Ana Bove site that all you have to do is use a vacumm cleaner for that, I did and the problem is solved, also the sensor was not working and the machine will stop every 14 to 18 stitches, but thanks God and Ana Bove, the vacumm took care af all that, if I had take it to the shop it could have cost me over $200.00 to fix it,,they are just thieves.So if you have a pe700 now you know what to do.

MM keep watching the hsn after mothers day this year they had them on sale for $499.99.Maybe after Thanksgiving or Christmas they'll do it again...**
