One of my hand made cushions. Stitched with silk thread. Sometimes I wonder why they are all packed away and not in use... Guess the GD's may have some fun with them one day....hope you enjoy viewing it.

Probably because I need to recover my lounge first so they all look sweet sitting there. Mind you I do have some out...gotta spoil myself occassionally.

Yes I know what you mean. There is just not enough hours in the day to get all these things finished... And yes, we need to spoil ourselves.....more than occassionally...aha....

Such beautiful handwork. So much time. You can now do something like that with just the wink of an eye. Of course the old-fashioned way is really the prettiest and most treasured. Soon, that art will be lost. I guess that's why it is put away. Thanks for sharing. Excellent!

Kerry, lovely work - if you don't use them and they are packed away - they may never know how much work you put into them - without you telling them - in a note or in a story as they look at them - such lovely work and I see why you treasure them so. WOW!

so much work other Idea is to put it in a frame with a spacer between a mate and the glass,could look so pretty with black velet behind the cushion to show off all that beauiful work. and then put it on the wall. By the front door so everyone coming and going can injoy it.
