Why do some have a Private message box & not others?

When you click on the person's name, you should get a list of their questions, then way down the page (if they've talked a lot, hee hee hee) their biography, and there should be a box that says 'private message'. I have found that if you click on the person's name in just a "comment", not an actual "question or answer", then you don't get the private message box. You can send anyone a PM if you just type their name in when you go to "private" tab, and "send a message". Hope this helps. Marji

If someone sends you a private message you will see a plus sign beside the name private on the tab at the top when in the community link. There are two tabs: public and private. If you send a private message to just one person no one esle sees it. You can access it from the tab or on the persons profile page.

glad you asked I had never seen this, and now I was looking and saw I had a privat message myself (three days ago already,)I didn't even know, but I do now. thanks!
