Mary the only thing I found was you buy a cd $45 or join their club to get the sock monkey breast cancer design. Could not find anything about a hunt.

Oh Misscharlie, you have obviously not been the recipient of or have made one for another. I still have the one my grandmother made me, and made them-and sock elephants-for my children, and now am in the process of making them for my 2 grand sons. And now I can put a shirt on them with a monkey! Using tweed thread, they look just like the real thing. They are a traditional toy.

this is true Jo I have never received one. I can appreciate that it is an acquired taste, one I have not acquired.

I found a bunch of sock monkeys on the sock monkey central page and one is a monkey with the breast cancer ribbon,but they are for sale not free.I didn't see any info on a hunt.Good luck!*4u

I did not seem them yesterday, but today when I went on I found 3 of them. Two are on christmas pages.. THey are described as finger puppets, but from the looks of them, can be used as regular designs if you leave off the last color...Cute
