Perfect sense. You can worship anywhere you are, the important thing is that Jesus is in your heart! Hugs &a*

God makes house calls to. And did you know the Bible is the only book where the author is present every time it is read?

I appreciate your openness in expressing your beliefs. That is what it means to be free. You are a true inspiration to all who read your posts. It is difficult to believe anyone would be offended. Everyone is free to express their views here, as long as it is not evil. That is what a true community is, being able to express who you are, and being accepted for that. We love everyone who is willing to express good honest views, and may GOD BLESS YOU in return!

I too want to say good for you. I'm a Christian and I think more of us need to stand up for what we believe just as much as the non-believers. Just like you said there is going to be a judgement day. God Bless ya sister.

Ezzemmi, God Bless you and yours also. The Libs are trying to take anything having to do with God from our courthouses, postoffices, and our schools + many more. I now wright on any letters I send "GOD BLESS AMERICA". I am sick of the fact we are told to respect all others, however, they want to take ours away !! This is what our Country was built on. Hugs and flower.

Iknow in America and in Australia we accept many culturs and religions and are proud of that fact that we are supposed to be free but it should not mean that we change who we are as not to offend we are who we are and we allow them to practice what they believe what they may and allow them to wear what they have to carry their faith freely yet we are being restricted when a young girl was restricted to take off a cross at school and refused she was susspended that was the last straw for me and i don't believe it is the different religeons doing this it is governments and the people leading governments so please all when you vote make sure you know what you are voting for. And take that oppertunity to do so as that one vote may make a difference.

THANKS TO ALL. A I did have a blessed day just after this i was offered free tickets to a magic show. The i traveled to the big smoke 2 1/2 hr away and have finally found a doctor who thinks he knows what is wrong with my daughter it has taken 10 years. She will have to go to hospital for some tests. But he did listen to me. We arrived early and were able to have lunch beforhand as to not hold up the driver, and we had a safe straight through ride no traffic jams just left city before peek hour. And when i got home I walked into a clean house my other daughter ook it upon herself to do all the cleaning, and the carer volenteered to care for my son for nothing for the day. So I had a good blessed day.

ttt

I think this is worth having more people see.

I am a Christian also, but don't force my denomination on anyone. What matters is that you believe what the Bible says. Not interpretations by man. We do not have God or Jesus speaking to us, so how would we know if we are interpreting it correctly. I believe it word for word. If It says that Jonah was swallowed by a whale, then it happened.

If anyone is interested, a really great series of books is The Case For... (A Case for Christ, A Case for Faith, A Case for a Creator, and A Case for the Real Jesus.) It is written by Lee Strobel, a journalist and former atheist. He interviews people and presents the facts from a scientific viewpoint. It is a great tool for evangelism also. It really gives you tools to answer any arguments you might encounter.

Okay, that's my input and by the way, I'm Lutheran. :)

Thank you. I attend a Lutheran church also. My church has those books at the guest desk and anyone is welcome to take one.

I agree. It used to be in school that we said the lords prayer now it is not allowed as it offends others well it offends me that we must change for others. Give us this day! Lisa
