I can't say...looks to be a code for the type of refund and it appears that intead of giving a paypal credit, she now has a credit with the site in the same amount. Try contacting the customer service section of the site.

Francoisen, American refund mean they are giving you that amount back. It can mean that you over paid something, or they are not accepting your order for some reason. Is it possible that she paid twice by using her credit card, then also used paypal ?? Then one of them is giving her a refund. I do not know the cost of what she ordered, this is what makes me unsure. Hope this helps. Hugs and*.

That means tht next time you order from annthegran you have tht much credit to subtract from your total bill. :)

Without seeing the exact message I can only take a guess. From what I gather there is a 2% charge of the total refund (handling fee?). The refund was not issued back to paypal but instead as a store credit for her to make her purchase. I really hope this makes sense to you, I would suggest she contacts the site to see if her order was processed or if now she has the store credit to make her purchase.
