to sell the Diamond, but I can just not justify it right now. And it has gone up another $500, making it $9500. Very nice to use, but not now! We had 22 mini classes, and 2 make it and take it projects. I got over my fear of using the serger for one of these, and actually put in a zipper using the serger. There were so many different embroidery designs available here, and not just the Husgavarna - Jenny Haskins, Vermillion, Anita Goodesign, plus others. I did my first paper piecing quilting and think I may just like that! I just hope that I can remember some things to try to do. What a great time we had - wish we were all could meet somewhere and learn from each other. You cuties offer such a wealth of knowlege. I am very tired, and am going to call it a night. Sweet dreams and happy sewing to you all.

It was called candy corn. I purchased the design Hawaiian Star - it will make an 85 x 85 quilt. Maybe by the time my old fingers can no longer move the material I will be able to complete it.

Most definitely! My friend said she could buy a car for that - she was a little sticker shocked too.

Wish I could have been with you! I do have a Diamond, and looks like I'm lucky to get it for the lower price! Whew! I know there are a LOT of things I can do with it that I just don't know! Hopefully our dealer will have some project classes now that we have had the regular "get aquainted with your machine class!"

Wow, Beth that is so neat that you were able to attend a two day seminar - what a treat - can't wait for you to pass along some of that new knowledge and to view your projects, too! Get some rest and pop in when you can.

Glad you had a good time and learned a lot, am looking forward to seeing some of your things in Projects. My dealer is having a "look at the new Diamond" evening next Tuesday. Don't know what the price is going to be and don't even know whether to attend or not. Might make me want one and to be honest, my Designer 1 is still performing well.
