Just finished my second rag quilt, this one is for a GD for Christmas, didn't make it too big as thought she could use it more for when she is watching TV...the design is from Sick, Ashley Sews...

Never done a rag quilt yet, but your lovely one makes me consider doing one. I like the use of just two colours. It looks fabulous.

Thanks Shirlene...Ran out of the printed flannel and had a difficult time finding the right red to finish with but finally found a good match while up visiting in Toronto..and it was 50% off..

Absolutely love this quilt. I am new to quilting but really enjoy it. Did you use cotton squares or flannel?

Thanks michele - It has taken a while as I ran out of the print and they didn't have anymore and so had to come up with a red that was the same tone, it wasn't an easy task...Lesson learned - next time buy more than you think you need Glenda

Very nice!!! What is a rag quilt?

Thanks katy, a rag quilt is done with the seams on the front of all layers then they are clipped and when it is washed and dried it "rags" or frays the edges...
