My 5 year old son is throwing up and multiple trips to toilet. Brought him to 24 clinic and the doctor never show up. We are back home.

Be careful Soi, Children can dehydrate very quickly. Send to store for pedialyte or something similar to replace electrolytes. Praying for quick recovery.;)

Is he able to hold down the pedialyte? My Dr. said to give 1 tablespoon every 15 min. if the child is not able to keep it down. That will work with Sprite, too. I sure hope he feels better soon.

I hope the little guy is doing better - it is always rougher on mom sometimes when the little ones are ill. Hope the best for both of you.

Until he can be seen by a doctor:
Does he have a fever? If so it could be the flu, which all you can do is treat the symptoms. If the doctor says it's ok then give him ibuprofin to reduce fever and aches. Does he have a rash? If it's just intestional symptoms, it will have to work it's way through. You might be able to get something from the doctor for the vomiting and diarhea, but like everyone has said...KEEP HIM HYDRATED! Once he can keep fluids down, start easy on solid foods, dry toast, crackers, jello, etc. Good luck, and see the doctor as soon as you can.

He just threw up again. I keep him with Pedialyte. Any diarhea medicine he took he threw up. His number 2 was completely water. I may have to spend tonight at ER.
