Seeing Mt Fuji is such a fantastic experience, no matter how many times you pass by it. In Japan, photos of Mt Fuji is taken all around the year, for its season, different beauty of it. At the end of year, the sun rises right on top of it, this phenomenum is called Diamond Fuji, and when the moon is on top of it, called Pearl Fuji(photos below, from the internet, I don't remember where I got those). They say it's very difficult to get a good shot of those.

Every time I went to visit my grand parents and great grand parents, they brought me to Fuji. The sad part is I have not been Fuji for about 12 years. Your photos remind me to visit with my son. Of course, my grand and great grand parents are not there any more. Hopefully, my lazy husband will go with me. That is truely beautiful place.
