Oh gosh, I want one too. It's on my Santa "wish list". I'm thinking about Embird 8 or PE pro 7, they seem ok and I hope Santa can afford that. Oh, and welcome to the Cute family, you will find people here friendly and you will enjoy it as much as I do. *4you

Do you have any digitizing experience? if not,I will recommend that you that you begin with a trial or a free digitizing program and then once you feel comfortable buy one. In the meanwhile you can can then save to get you a very good program. I recommend PEDesing, Embird or DecoStudio

Welcome to the Cute Family, Cracker!! I digitize with Janome's Digitizer Pro, it's wonderful, but it did break the bank, hee hee hee. I hear a lot of good things about Embird, but I've never used it. Why not go for the 30 day free trial & see what's up with it? Best of luck to you, you will truly enjoy digitizing! Marji

Cracker,
I can't digitize, but I do own a Brother Innovis 1500 D machine. If I understand correctly, you have all you need within the machine. You just need to know how to use it. I do have the brother PE Design with mine. A lesson was given, on digitizing, when I purchased but I wasn't interested at the time.

Check your books that came with your machine. I think you are allowed so many free classes and one yearly maintenance check on your machine

I use Husqvarna Vikings 3 D Professional and nearly had to take a second mortgage (Not quite) but I do like it and it is very user friendly. Try the free trial for Embird and take your time to check out the others, even going to the machine shops and get them to show you before you make your decision - Good Luck.

cracker. Welcome to our group. You will love it here. I don't know any thing about the Brother machines or their software. Did you buy software with your machine? If so. I would recommend taking all the free classes if they are offered with your dealer. That might give you a better idea of what you have and what you would like to purchase. Just getting started is expensive buying thread and stabilizer spray adhesive and larger size hoops and needles. Looking back, one thing that I wish I had not done was buy so many expensive design collections from my dealer. Once you start collecting them over the Internet, you have a much better selection and much cheaper. Ask us as you need them where to buy supplies and we will gladly tell you all our favorites. Get ready to have fun!!
