Here he is sick as a dog!!!

Oh, Charlie, that's really dangerous. Might want to think about the vet as quickly as you are able. In my latest newsletter from Designs by SiCK, there was a great article about sewing room dangers for pets, and this was one of them. I wish I could post a link to that newsletter article, but the gist is we have to keep thread clippings contained, and material scraps also, because our pets can become very ill or die from this kind of ingestion. I concur with Marji, I think perhaps you should give the emergency vet a visit or a call...if you have one in your area. If not, I'd do a good thorough search online for some answers and get to the vet as soon as possible. I can remember reading years ago that their poor little colons can become intensely knotted/strangulated as the result of swallowing cord, string and other similar items. The fact that it is only four inches long may help, but I think it depends on a number of factors, to include the size of the pet. I too hope your little guy is ok!!!

OOOOH misscharlie,hope you little budy is oke. It's always dangerous to have materials around but sometime it just happens in a split second.

With Christmas around the corner, I feel compelled to add that our vet urged us, 12 years ago when our kittens were celebrating their first Christmas, NOT to put tinsel on the tree! Once again Miss Charlie, I certainly hope Buddy is doing much better and I don't mean to alarm you horribly, but just want to assist you with this difficult issue.

OK, you started this so here goes - Once upon a time my brother bought a 10mo old St Bernard. Dear bother tell me "Missy is eating my clothes" -- I go yeah right - she is still a pup - I say - thinking she is just chewing things up. Well one night my Dad and I were watching TV so Dad says he going to let Missy Upstairs -- well after a few minutes she starts to "upchuck" - I though - "Oh my gosh - this size dog getting sick - I'll never get it cleaned up" -- To my surprise and amazement - the only thing that came up was a full size bath towel!!!! -- I kid you not!!!!!!!!!! You should have seen our field where she relieved herself - large piles of "you know what" with a sock here and there a sock - here a shirt ect - LOL - sounding like Old McDonald Farm now! So I very much understand - hope pup will be OK - just be carefull - My C - Spaniel used to be bac about this too! Good thing I'm almost a veternarian!

Well feed the pup charlie so he won't eat fleece. LOL Kidding aside I hope he is ok, He should b by now. I'd hate for the SPCA to come & get ya. *
