I really do appreciate the thoughts and prayers. I know that God had a reason for everything and it is just really hard to see it right now. The arrangements are made, and the 3 kids are doing as well as can be expected. My Mom is home from her Disney trip and going to arrive tomorrow. Three of my sisters have been bringing food...nobody wants to eat. I am walking in a fog as some of you mentioned . My eyes are almost swollen shut and my head hurts so bad. BUT my heart is what is so empty right now... We met when I was 17 and I've had him by my side ever since. Thru the good times and the bad.. I miss him so much. Again Thanx for all your thoughts and prayers...I'm sorry this is so long but I know that IF I need to talk to you I can. THANX Barb

Strength to you at this time. I'll keep on praying for you and your family. Take some comfort from the Cutie family who are here to listen when you need to talk and will carry you through this awful time in their prayers and thoughts. ((((((((((((hugs for you))))))))))))))).

You will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts. I've always been told that God has a plan. We just don't always know what that is.
My sister lost her husband 2 years ago this December in much the same way. So I know that it is hard. Hopefully you have close family and friends to help you though it. It is getting easier for her but Christmas is still hard.

Barb, dear one - do what is in front of you to do - get through this day - then this day - it will never be easy - - the loss of a husband is great - no matter the circumstances - I am grateful to hear that you will have your family close and there if needed you will reach out to them - as you can here - when you want - write alot or little - just let us know how you are and if there is anything that we could do or say to help you. You know we will do it for you. Ucnoditional Love, Shirlene

Barb, I'm sorry to be so late to reply, but my internet dish was full of snow, and I have not been on the computer. This is just so hard. It will be a year ago on the 17th that my dear Bud passed away. I woke up and found him cold in bed. It's best, because I have seen lingering death, and it's no easier. Gone is gone, and it feels like there's a hole where your heart should be. I'm so glad you have family around you, at least you have that comfort. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need to talk to someone who's been there, and in some ways is still there. PM me if you need to, and make it as long as you want to. I care, very much, and will help you in any way I can. Love, Marji

Oh Barb..........There isn't a word I can say right now that will ease your pain. I can only pray that God will bring peace to you and be at your side through the grieving process. My thoughts are with you. Sending you a hug. Angie
