This is the very first project I ever showed here. I have just sold it at a recent exhibition held by our craft club. It was very exiting to have sold it. This is the first time I have sold a quilt.

As you have sold this quilt I am sure you feel delighted that a piece of your work has sold but possibly a little sad at saying goodbye to it. It is a beautiful piece of work.

It was made in a workshop called 'Slash 'n Dash'. You don't really have much control in the final outcome, but if you choose colours that co-ordinate, it usually turns out okay. I did the quilting mostly using my embroidery machine.
