on Election day. She spent six days in the NICU at Scott and White Hospital in Temple Texas. Adelaides heart beat would drop every time Deana would have a contraction. After 16 hours of labor and 2 failed atempts at an epidoral they finally got Deana some pain releaf. Her pains were so bad that she was shaking uncontrolably. The baby was headed into destress when Deana needed to push and we didn't have a doctor on the floor. After fighting the need to push for 5 minutes Deana's doctor appeared and Adelaide was born 5 minutes later. As soon as she was born the delievery nurse was calling the NICU and we knew something was wrong. Adelaide has Turners Syndrom. One of the trates with TS is a narrowing of the aorta and Adelaide has this and mainy other TU traits. She is doing well. I had to come home to see the doctor my self and to take care of some business and then I will return to Texas to go to the Genetics with Deana and Adelaide on the 9th of December. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. She is stable and now we have to learn how to meet her special needs.
