I have seen the new 6000D it is beautiful and has a camera on it as well but I dont have $9,000 AU to spend on that, it's just been released. But i am happy with my 4000D oh I love to say that lol. Thank you Meganne, yes I spent many long hours wanting this and seeing others get theirs along the way. I hope you have all of your dreams fulfilled some day too. You just have to go and make it happen some how like I did. It all started when I went to my first craft show in Brisbane in October this year and I found it after being lost in direction from where I was before I had lunch and I just went with the flow to where I was being directed from above after asking where was I and where should I go next. Then I found the stall and a wonderful man that gave a pensioner a break to make my long time dream come true and he helped me all the way with getting it. I have another sewing machine as well its a Janome 4900 Q, but the best thing is now I will be able to get not only the free embroidery designs from Brother but the stitches for the sewing as well. After I know how to use the machine that it. lol

Thank you Shirlene, I am having a wonderful time even just to look at it, makes me happy. Yes when I went to try and move it to where I wanted it in the frame (using it blindly, no book) I discovered that I could just touch it in one place and it put it in the center of the frame for me, so I thought that must be what it does and how easy it was to have that extra than what I have been used to doing. I have a lot of reading to do, so I dont break it after all this time of waiting. lol

I am so used to being on an old machine I cant find the basic things on it because they couldnt find the manual at the time when I picked it up and they will be sending me one tomorrow in the mail. I have downloaded it from brother and will read that. So until I can find where to go forward and back on the design and where to do a trial of where the pattern is going to be lined up I wont touch it again but I hope to have another go today. So far I have done one built in design. I have learnt one thing already, after it has been threaded I need to pull out more cotton for the take up for when it sews.
