in hospital they found some spots on my lung my left lung so they have to send a scope down my throat and scrap my lung tissue to see if it is just a scar from all the phenomonia i have had or if it is lung cancer i should have results back by friday man it is hard for me to even work i get out of breath have to stopa while take a breathing treatment go back to work well i am not going to be working for a while i told my boss today that it hurts me to bad to work anymore just taking normal breaths hurts my lungs i am asking for prayers for this problem i will be facing monday morning thank you for your thoughts and prayers i myself have learned here that the power of prayer is very strong

Oh Mary, I will pray for you. I can not even imagine what you must be going through. I hope this test will not be too uncomfortabel. I hope they can give you something while this procedure takes place. Please keep us informed if you can, but most of all take care of yourself. Mary, you certainly have my prayers!! This is a real trial, I am sure. There is so much uncertainty about what you'll find out, and what it will mean when you do, and there is the test itself which doesn't sound like it's easy or pleasant. But at least you are getting what sounds like good medical care, they aren't fooling around and making you wait. I pray that they'll find out it's something they can do something about so you can breathe better, and that it's not lung cancer. I'm sorry you won't be able to work any more for a while, I sure hope that isn't going to keep you off the internet because of it. Prayers are with you, my friend, as well as many hugs and love. Mary, you will be in my thoughts and prayers and I hope that you will be strong when told what is going on with your body - one never knows why things happen in our life - only one does. Do what you can to understand they will be doing to you - so you can be prepared - then do whatever they ask you to do - follow the details and proceedures to the letter. I know one thing - that you will not be alone - every step of the way - not only our prayers and thoughts will be with you - but God will be right there with you - bring Him there - for you and your family - bring Him into this every step of the way - you can do this with Him.

Mary, go to your bible or find one online and print off some scripture about strength and trust and memorize it so that you can use it tomorrow while you are having the test done. God takes us through all troubles and the 23 Psalm is a wonderful one for such trials as this. Just keep repeating it and claiming it as yours. He is listening. You and your family are in my prayers.

Mary - I hope things went well with you. My daughter had been sick off and one for almost a year with bronchitis, and pneumonia that would not clear. 7 years ago she and I both got very ill with bronchitis. She could not see her doctor, but instead saw mine. He xrayed her and found a tumor in her lung, which turned out bad. She was never a smoker,came from a family of non smokers, but had worked since she was 17 around smokers. She lost her middle lobe, and part of the bronchi, but she has been cancer free for what will soon be 7 years come 2-15-09. So, there is alway good things out there too. She was going to refuse treatment and the doctor told her she would have only 9 months. Good things do come around too. She does have diminised lung capacity, but she jogs, works out and is an inspiration to me daily. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and wish you the best. Please do keep us informed.

update it is wednesday i have not heard anything yet about my tests man what a procedure to go through first because of my breathing they would not knock me out so they gave me a local antisetic then a long thin metal piece with a small camera at the end and a knife that looked like a eyelash curler went in while watching this yes i watched it was pretty cool actually to see the insides of your body yes i am weired like that i watched them give me my c sections also lol but the doctor is really saying that it is all scar tissue from penemonia still waiting for final results

Gee Mary what a procedure to go through. If I would have seen this instrument coming anywhere near my throat I would have gagged. Now we pray that it really is only scar tissue.

Hey, Mary!! Glad you updated us, so sorry that flu shot made you sick!! That's why I don't bother, it's like, I can pay for the flu shot & have 100% chance of getting sick from it, or maybe not get sick from the flu for free!! Russian Roulette is my game, I guess. I know what you mean about watching procedures, I do that too, my curiosity is boundless, and I don't mind seeing inside my body, it's cool!! I hope they're right, that it's only scar tissue, but then what can they do to make your breathing better? Is there anything to be done about scar tissue?
