I am sure you will find a name that will fit the royal lad. Defa is a name I had for a dog many moons ago DEFA Being D fa Dog. But I also had a cat named mouse. A male bird called angel because birds have wings.I have 4 Rabbits STEW, BURGER,CARROT and LUNCH.
I had a dog named SHE now I have 2 cocker spaniels
Polly Waffle and Willie Wonka. named after chocolates. King Willy after prince William I would like to see him as king not his father Charles. Now you all know how crazy it is in my house hold.I cant even get the Kids names right. Hope he brings you much pleasure and love

AWWWWWW! how gorgeous! he deserves a great name!

I believe you should live with him for a week or so and get to know his character and you know what will happen?

A name will just come to you, out of the blue, and it will be his name and he wil know it is his name.

And if it doesn't well, my choice would be Matey, 'cause it sums up what he is, a friend, a companion, an Aussie 'Mate'

hugs n blessings and may you both share a long & happy lifetime of love and good health together.

Oh, what a cute little puppy. I just adopted a little puppy that was dumped in a field by the railroad tracks! I named her Trixie, because she full of tricks! Can you believe there are sites with names for dogs? Here's one you might want to look at..... http://petrix.com/dognames/

Oh,your puppy is adorable.I like Charlie and KC, but the right name will come to you. My shih a pom just had 4 adorable puppies, and when they get old enough to start running around we usually give them names instead of calling them all puppy. Let us know what you decide to call him.

He is too cute. I got a puppy last spring and know just how you feel. I had pages and pages of names and her name ended up being not one of the ones I had written down. While driving home with her I looked down and said... You look like a container of marble fudge ice cream. Her name became Marble. I also call her Goobie Girl which she loves to hear. Here are a few more names to throw into the pot... Prince Auggie, Askim (when someone asks his name you say Askim-Ask Him). Whatever you name him, he is adorable and a wonderful, loving part of your family.

Had an all black King Charles many years ago and had to give him away as my children were bothered with allergies, mind you today they are grown and both have animals so guess they outgrew it...your is just adorable and Charlie seems to fit him perfectly...now you will have to put all the names in a hat and pull one LOL - enjoy your new friend Sandra...Hugs..

After seeing him and reading all the responses, I go for Charlie K. That way, you can omit the K (king) when you get upset with him, and I'm sure he will have his naughty times! hahaha! **

You are going to love your Cavalier KCS!!! My mom and I both have one. They are sisters...I went with mom to help her pick out a new puppy, and I came home with one too. They are sisters, and they just love playing together! Mom named her's Khloe, and we named ours Zoey. Cavaliers are such loving dogs and make great companions. I don't have a name suggestion, but you have several good one listed already. *
