OH meg didn't they give you antibiotics??? I always was told to rinse with warm salt water to shrink the tissue back to normal toooo :)

Yes, so far I've now had ten courses of triple strength Antibiotics.
It's been three months since my last extractions, but the jaw infection has been ongoing 2 years, 2 surgical procedures to drain and all.
I'm seeing a Specialist facial bone n oral surgeon on Friday. Well, i'm off for more x-rays.
Thinking of you friend, Do you want to join Marji and come live with me in Australia? Of course you have to bring the whole family, four legged, feathered and all, and of course your embroidery machine too??? I'll digitise, you two can sew and we'll have a ball!!! LOL!!!

WHAT..??? I'll have them all packed and ready to be loaded in a cargo jet by mornin...:) Here we come...My Mom, 7 sibs and their families (count is at 46) then my kids with their pets?!?!?! OK rent out the local zoo! I only have to pack my fabric stash and no clothes...I'm on my way:)

OMH, Abcesses are so cruel and to have a tooth pulled when it is abcessed is excrutiating, worst pain I ever felt was having an eye tooth pulled when it was abcessed, I thought he was pulling my eye out through my mouth!!! please tell him I really feel his pain and please make sure he keeps up the salt water or antiseptic rinsing, cause that is how my jaw infection started November 2006!!!! I didn't keep up the rinsing. hnr, M

Hope you feel better fast! I had an abcessed molar pulled without anesthesia because the antibiotics wouldn't touch the infection, would rather not remember how that felt. But the pain was so much easier to bear than the pain of the abcess. Really feel sorry for you, dear one! Love, Marji
