I do so love these beautiful beings, and admire them greatly. I only got to experience one in the local zoo, but she was great. Back in the day when we were all more ignorant, and parents actually took care of their kids, Eva the elephant could reach thru the bars of her enclosure, and touch and snuffle us with her trunk, and we learned not to be afraid. We would feed her peanuts, and she never harmed anyone. I'm so glad you can see these beauties in the wild, where they belong. M

they are just so magnificent, and not as friendly in the wild, on an earlier trip a bull elephant charged at us as we were getting too close to him ,and he did not like it, he was huge and could have turned our car over if my husband had not reacted fast.
