New roll call for Queensland girls ,I dont know how the rest of you went over night as we had more storms then lost power we are ok but could hear chain saws all night, hope all are ok

Gd morning Minnie. Wasnt it a terrible night? Then we woke up in the middle of night with a loudly sound looking like an explosion. We didnt see anything wrong and still dont know what was that. Glad you are okay.

we had our street closed off power guys walking up and down the street ,could hear saws cuting but with no power we couldn't see anything ,its only now we can see damage , the pub has lost its roof and many trees down the beach came down

All OK here lost power for a couple of hours, lucky we had no damage lets hope that Saturdays predicted storms aren't as bad as they predict...stay safe everyone.

how long can this go on for its just keeps on coming,
I know my heart goes out to the poor people at The Gap and Ipswich, lets hope we have a few weeks respite so the ground can dry a bit...

Glad to hear that you're all OK. We had unseasonal weather here in Cape Town last week - bad floods and wash-aways which caused a lot of damage. Stay safe.

I'm okay here in the south of Brisbane, lots of rain again, by the look of the sky before though it looked like we in for more than we got, people in the North West of Brisbane I think you guys got it worse than us on the Southside, hope you are all okay!!

brace yourself for storm number 4 scarborough beach is a mess the pub has lost its roof it overturned a van and the poor lady is in hospital , it blew in windows , I talked to a man who had his front windows blown in and looked around to find his boys ran out side and the powerlines came down he just thinks he is lucky to have his faimly alive

My goodness & to think we are considering moving back to Qld in 3 yrs to be with our girls. Well at least they say its a 1 in 25yr storm. Humph! Enough is enough already, Hang in their girls. Hope no one has had any major damage, We left Brissy to come home from holiday at the right time. As the song goes... Billy dont be a hero ....Keep your pretty head low. Take care

We lost power for about 10mins (Robina Gold Coast), big winds lots of rain, thunder and lightning, turned off all computers etc.. It scared the 8yr old twins but no damage thank goodness. Friday and alls quiet tonight :) Louise
