I want to make some gifts with embroidery on the bar of soap. What soap brand works best ? I know it should be one without the brand name carved into it, but I hate to buy several bars of soap trying to find one that is smooth. TIA.

You can always put the design right over the brandname of the soap.***4U

I hadn't thought of that. I read an article that said to shave off the name with a knife.......ugh ! I did not want to do that ! Just wanted something simple, like a plain, smooth bar. :-) But, I guess I'll try one with a name on it, too. Thanks.
