Endless Hoop designs are embroideries designed in such a way that you can easily stitch them out in seamless repeats. There normally are extra stitches at the beginning and the end that make flawless continuation possible. Husqvarna Viking has a special hoop - called Endless Hoop, hence the name - to do that easily along borders, but a normal hoop will do just as well and not just along borders.
