I've never heard of softies, but are they good? I wish that it was hot here, not too hot, but a lot warmer! It is supposed to be cold and dreary tomorrow! Enjoy your weather. :) *4Uall

LOL gosh sorry, it must be the heat,my poor DH,i have been asking for a spar to put in the garden for the last week. We have a beach thats only 5 minutes walk away, that we cannot swim in this time of the year, due to stingers. The softies look so cute i thought i may buy the disk if i can find out how to make them.

I had a look at the softies you meant. I think they are done completely in the hoop: embroidery first until last colour and in this case material put on the front and then the outline stitched. I don't know if they leave an opening for turning and filling or have you do the back in 2 pieces, but the principle is the same. They look cute. You could of course use any design you like and make them into softies with the help of your sewing machine: put backside under the embroidery, good sides facing, stitch an outline leaving an opening for turning, put in some filling and hand sew the last bit. And hey presto you've created your own. Good luck.

You are so lucky, you can make snowmen just like the ones we see in cute embroidery. Does this mean that you will be having a White Christmass. *4U

Haven't made any, but the following link has some cute ones, and she has the instructions. You might get a better idea from this. Just check out the left side to find softies. She has lots. Good luck.*** After you click on the softie you want to see, keep scrolling down until you see the instructions.
