I have been asked to monogram some towel for a friend but am not sure about placement. There is a band about 4 inches above the bottom not sure on, above,or below. Help Lisa

If the band is wide enough you could put it there. However, I found that that's usually the area most likely to shrink during laundering. Other place is mentioned in some placement articles as 1 1/2" above the band, in the middle. But of course you're free to do whatever you like. One of my clients want it top middle, so that's what she gets.

Another thing I forgot to tell you. Put solvy on top of the towel so the terry won't suck up the design. I got mine at JoAnn's. I also use tearaway on the bottom. Again GOOD Luck

I know there r rules, & I will try to abide, but I'm going to put the design, mono whatever where I think it looks best or where I think it will display best & of course the client has the last say. *4U
