Oh yeah, I made that mistake once before learning my lesson. Luckily for me it was on something that I was easily able to replace. :)

Yep.....it only feels like time wasted....but it really isn't. One of the web sites has for their statement,"There are two kinds of embroiderers, those who test stitch and those who wished they had.";)

I've never had any test stitchouts go to waste. Bad ones prevent further problems. Good ones go in quilts or become appliques.

you're right, but I can't stand to use 2x my time, 2x my thread, stabilizer, etc.,etc. I hardly get enough time to embroider as it-LOL..but when it really counts - I do a sample...*4u

My case is that it LQQKed so pretty and thinking it would sew out as on the paper..."WRONG ANSWER". I am working with denim so there will be some straps to test on ;) *2U

Yes, it could be a pain, specially if it is on a specific item that cou can't replace later. I lerned my leason some time ago the hard way too. Baybe it could be saved with some applique work or a patch over, I has worked for me before.
