Big Baby has been coming to our Christmas celebrations for 11 years now. Big Baby is a doll that was given to my youngest GD by her aunt when she was 1 year old. She would want you all to know that Big Baby is a boy. He has traveled all over with us where ever we go. He has been to Hawaii, Mexico, and on a Western Caribbean cruise, and also to several of the States that we have traveled together. This is the only doll that my GD has had anything to do with and he wears preemie clothes. So, this grandma had to make him a snow hat and outfit to put in my GD's stocking at our house.

Beth this is great - where did you get your pattern for the preemie? I love the history of the Big Baby - no wonder she takes it everywhere - it is always dressed to the nines. Hehehe!

We don't know what will happen when this one needs to be retired. My GD is what I really call our "old sole" She thinks much older than she is, but has to have "Big Baby" with us where ever we go. She has always talked big, and carries on a conversation lilke an adult - well, most of the time.
