Now if ya took all those rooms ...had a tornado go thru them...THAT's what my sewing room looks like..:) BUT if you were to ask me where a certain item would be..I COULD FIND IT..eventually..some day...not soon...well maybe tomorrow, or next week if your not in a hurry. Ya think I'm kidding???

wow!! they are great!! i have a 19x9 room and i still need more space.. but i am getting a build in shelving unit on one wall in spring and that will really help!!.. i just have so many diff projects that i do going on that its so cluttery.... and i have a section devoted to my daughters crafts in there as well... it makes me want to build a little 8x8 addition.. lol.. just for storing fabric!! but there was some really great ideas for organizing!! thank you for sharing!! **

Thanks my dear - just makes me want more space and lots more money to create a better place to do my embroidery. Hehehe! I did get some Holiday Project ideas on that site, too.

Wow.. makes me want to buy a new house just for a bigger sewing room.. some girls want a bigger kitchen but then we all have our priorities right.. some of these spaces are amazing.. thank you for this link into dream land.. Kathy

Some really great ideas but don't most of the rooms seem so dark?

Not many of them had the HUGE fluorescent lights or natural lighting that my (night blind) eyes require just to see. LOL!!!

OK, I've decided i need a new house so I can have a sewing room with 4 walls (one of them all windows) and a door so I can just walk out and leave the room as I NEED it and just close the door behind me.

A skylight would be good too so on overcast, dull days there would still be enough natural coming in.

But it has to be a BIG room, because I get claustrophobic, besides, I need to fit three complete computer systems, Telly, 2 DVD/VHS recorders, Stereo & turntable, Standalone printer, 5 x 6ft x 4 ft bookcabinets, three sewing machines with respective storage cabinet/tables, 1 elna ironing press and work bench, 1 knitting machine & table, 3 chests of drawers, 2 6ft high display(storage) cabinets, 2 white boards, 2 corkboards, 1 Blanket box, (my Dad's) storage chest, airconditioner, winter gas heater, Ray and me.

But hold on....

while I'm dreaming I may as well add A giant size cutting, come, craft table, but heck!

Thinking of all that work i think i'd better add 'one luxury leather recliner chair' so I can just put my feet up and rest. LOL!

This was just great to look at what others have in their rooms I thought mind was pretty well organized
might have to add a few things now. I have a big billard table in another room that I use for my cutting which is just wonderful. It has a full size top that fits on, which is hardly ever off these days. I would like some of us put a few photos of some of our sewing rooms
