I just made these tiny bears, they're made entirely in the hoop, the only hand sewing is to stitch up the gap in the seam left to turn and stuff them. They are exactly 4 inches (10 cms) tall and fit into the top of the little stockings I made and posted a few days ago. I've designed and digitised five bears altogether - a basic "naked" bear, a baby bear with "Baby's First Christmas" on its bib, the girl bear shown here, a boy bear with an applique waistcoat and a similar boy bear with an embroidered waistcoat.
