Hi all, just found out I need a Christmas sweater for an office party - I have a green cotton sweater that I made years ago. Any suggestions on how to jazz it up - would appreciate suggestions -

Since the sweater is green how about outlines/appliques of trees and wreaths and then add red crystals for berries to the wreath and different color/sizes/shapes of crystals for the tree? That would be minimal embriodery. You could even put a red bow on the wreath and I know there are metal hot fix designs and a star on top of the trees. GL *

I was even thinking of covering it all with snowflakes, I know where I can get the snowflakes, but where is the best place to look for outline designs like you suggested. gator

that is so pretty, I could do the outline in white, since the sweater is dark green - I'm starting to get excited about the possibilities. thanks

If ya wanted to just have something simple you could add your momogram on the left chest in a Christmas font. Like the snowflakes we just finished here.

they have some pretty white trees at the sewforum and they will look pretty on a sweater if you also add some snowflakes.***

Why not use some of the Snowflakes from CUTE - they would be lovely in silver metallics or white on your pretty green sweater. Please share it in the projects - when you finish it.
