Can you do a buttonhole with a walking foot on Janome 11000.I need 2 round button holes on 2 layers of plastic vinyl any ideas would be great at this point , thanks

I wouldn't think you could since you have a special foot for buttonholes but you might want to try it on some scrap vinyl...I'd use a tear away or wws on the top though....good luck.

If I were you I would put a square piece of heavy fabric like canvas or duck/broadcloth on the bottom to stabelize the holes...then trim close after finished. I don't think the walking foot will work...check the manual to see what foot to use for buttonholes:)

Thanks girls I used the buttonhole foot with tearaway top and bottom it would only do one type of buttonhole but that got the job done thanks again just had to think out side the square
