I made this angel a few years back, and this is what I did prior to my embroidery. She is a no sew, and I used lace, and hot glue, and ribbons. The head, and arms are porcelain and she is glued to a plastic cone so that she could be put onto a tree. The lace even had the pull string to tighten, so there really was no sewing involved with this at all. I made several, and they sold well, even though I was not trying to sell them. The wings were purchased, and were a beautiful embroidered set of wings.

Beth, what a lovely angel and I can see why she sold well, too. Thanks for sharing her with us.

Well, don't think that I will be making these anymore. I can't seem to stay away from the FSL.

I love your angel. How did you do the neckline and sleeves, and exactly where did the gathering lay on the angel? Under the bust?

I gathered smaller lace and did the sleeves and bodice of the dress and I put gold braid around the neckline. The skirt is layered. One row under the bust line, and another further down the plastic cone. These were pretty easy to do - finding all of the items was the hard part. Every time I made one someone wanted to buy it. I did brunetts and redheads - for my daughters of course.
