A couple of years ago (at work) we did a fund raiser raffle for our christmas families. Beautiful nice gifts too. One of these gifts was a set of mahagony bike tire frames. (200.00 value.)

I jokingly said that with my luck that is what I would win...lo and behold I did win those silly things. I don't even have a bike. So this year I decided to do this again. My coworker and I were looking at the gifts trying to pick which one we wanted. Poinsettas, candy baskets and a beautiful basket full of gingerbread items..love to win that...There was a large quilt (which I could make) didn't want that. A baby quilt (which As you know I have been working on 3 baby quilts for 3 seperate parties) sure didn't need that. Yep, you guessed it, me and my big mouth did it again, those magic words just popped right out there, "WITH MY LUCK I WOULD GET THE BABY QUILT". So tonight I came home with a baby quilt done by someone else, while I have three in progress. CARMA...don't you think.......Should of learned the first time to keep my thoughts to myself.. Hey, but yipee I WON !!!
