Why did vilene wss leave my item kind of stiff? TIA ;)

If it is too stiff put it back in water for a while. the longer it stays in water the softer it gets.

You've got your answer, but I like to add that if you are making bowls it's a useful property of the wss that you can use it as stiffener, just use a minimal amount of water and take it out after 5 min instead of half an hour. Flower for you.

TU...I just stuck it under the water and rinsed, don't know what happened to the directions...LOL...now I know ;) *2U

Monica, you just didn't allow enough of the WSS to be rinsed out - as has been said - rinse again - you will love it softer - unless you are doing a bowl or project that needs the extra stiffness. Enjoy!
