I don't have just one big project, but a bunch of little ones!! I want to make a Valentine's outfit for my daughter, finished her smocked dress I just recently started, make a some appliques to tack on some of her Christmas outfits so we can get a little more wear out of them, make a couple in-the-hoop play oven mitts and potholders for my daughter's new play kitchen, I have 4 pregnant friends that I need to start working on their baby gifts, and I already have several people asking me about Easter outfits that I need to go shopping and start designing!!! So...I have plenty to do and don't know where to start!!
I put my machine up a couple days ago, and I said it was going to stay up for a couple weeks or so to give myself a break...but I'm already ready to drag it back out!! *

Ashley, you little projects sound like large ones to me - I can't wait to see all this things come to life and view them in projects. What a busy lady - no wonder you wanted a break - but as for most of us - a day or two is about as long of a break that any of us can stand. Hehehe!

Hi Shirlene, I see you've been dodging the question what YOU are going to do. As for me: little projects, preeny clothes and baby things, charity items, making quilts from a stash of try-outs, things like that. And digitizing, have a couple of ideas there.

Oh Martine, you are funny - glad to hear that you are making all those little projects, which sound to be like big projects. Hehehe! Can't wait for the pictures in projects.

My great project for 2009 is to make for my daughter Sylvie an embroidery with 20 dogs and frame it so she can hang it on the wall in his veterinary surgery. I had made one last year with 20 cats for his sister who is veterinary also.

Claude, it does sound like you have alot of work to do - but please keep us posted - on those squares as you go along. How exciting. I remember the cats - so the dogs will be fun, too.

I'd like to finish everything I had started, that wasn't for Christmas, before starting anything new. First I'm trying to find my craft room underneath all the scraps and mess I made working on the Christmas gifts. As for designs, I received a Cute Membership as a gift so I've started downloading my favorites.

Deb, you will get to that room - I am sure of it - we all do that - mine is a mess, too. I will get to mine soon, too. CONGRATULATIONS on you membership - have fun downloading. Hehehe!

OK OK OK OK, what is my next big project? I have many small ones - but I would like to get my web site up and running - one day - with that - it should keep me rather busy - don't you think? As far as anything else - I still have my Mother to care for and it seems that she is due for another on site inspection of her apartment - that means another house cleaning from top to bottom - I have her storage yet to clean out - also my own - I need to get to this room and find the floor and table tops again. Sorting things back into their proper origin. Now for what I want to do with my embroidery - I guess I will just have to go through my designs and see what I haven't made - start at one end and work to the other - I will share them in the projects as I do them. But you can bet there will be plenty of FSL in there. Hehehe!

Great, now we all know Shirlene....
Your web site, will that be to sell designs? Or what? Don't keep me in suspense...

Shirlene, it is an interesting question! My next big project is to have a website with my design running. I have applied for the domain, but it is taking long to get it approved, maybe because it's holiday in Japan too. Then I have to get the web hosting too. I'm afraid it wont be ready by New Years as I have planned. Therefore, I'm busy working with the pages for the site and making more designs(and coming to Cute :)). Wishes? Just to have a Bless from God to be happy with my family. Well, I have read your project too. I wish you a big success with your website, I'm sure it will be! May all the Cuties wishes will come true for 2009! Hugs&blessings, Yoriko

OK - I am back for a while. I spent today going through a lot of the designs that I have accumulated, and am trying to decide what to do next. Of course, FSL - but also want to do a couple of the wall hangings from BFC. I was given instructions to do more with the Gingers in my Kitchen for all of the adult girls next year. I tried to find them at the last minute prior to Christmas, but did not - I just was not looking in the right place. But - I hope I do not do as I did this year, and still be stitching out at 8:00 PM on Christmas eve - I did for others before I got to what I wanted for the family, but then I guess that was good too. Not everything got done, but there was so much no one seemed to notice that some of the gifts were not under the tree. LOL I hope to draw ideas from all of the Cuties.
