I know it doesn't seem fair to everyone but there is nothing illegal or fishy going on. I like both sites and find both to be very reputable, helpful embroidery sites. I don't remember anyone saying SICK wasn't playing fair when 49 FREE designs a Day was available. The other side of the coin.... No complaints on SICK site about CuteEmbroidery offering all the daily free designs either. I really think this is a case of liking Cute best and wanting to see it as #1 all the time.

Gals, this is called "marketing". Banks used to give out toasters for opening a new account, gas stations used to give away free glassware, car dealers offer rebates & discounts, SiCK is offering points. There is nothing illegal or underhanded about it, period. Embroidery Top is an advertising site, in case you didn't know. There are links to it all over the web. The idea is when you go there, you see a bunch of embroidery sites that might interest you. Being #1 or #2 only means that your ad gets seen first, and will probably be clicked on first. That's all. No hidden agenda, nobody's getting a million dollar kickback. A little friendly competition is good and fun, but this mud-slinging is getting to be much less than fun. Even if you think Sick is doing something wrong, may I remind you of a couple of places in the Bible where Jesus says "Turn the other cheek", and tells his followers that they must forgive not seven times, but "seventy times seven"? Put up all the lovely pictures of angels you like, and talk about God and prayer and trust and love, but it is all an absolute falsehood when you act like this over something so trivial. What, indeed, Would Jesus Do? Would it really be this?

Uh, not fair is only because I like the cute family so much.
My small pocket money will like the point system and the possibilty to choose my freebie.

When you sign to designsbysick it is a automatic vote cute should do that I sign in to cute several times a day to see what is going on..where I only sign in to designsbysick once a day.

Cute is always my #1. I vote most every day. Sometimes I am just too busy to even check the site. :(

It is all legal!If you don't like what SICK is doing, the answer is simple. DON'T GO THERE!

I guess is a good sistem for who ever can't afford the new designs all the times. Somes like it some other don't. I just see it as a way for them to keep their businness running.

Ladies and gentlemen...I only come here once in awhile to look for tips and project ideas. I thought the idea of the Cute Embroidery forum was to exchange ideas to share projects, personal experiences and links to other sites. I do not believe that the owner of this site would be happy to know that it has become the place to trash another company or business.

I happened to come here the day when the SICK link was being discussed and commented then. Whoever signed in as "SICK" on this site was a practical joker who took advantage of the Cute members who are so caught up in being #1 at Embroidery Top that it has gotten totally out of hand! It is the members of this forum who have gotten into a competition, not the owner of Designs by Sick. He is a business person and business people don't have time to be caught up in playing petty games at Cute Embroidery. Good grief! He has a business to RUN and digitizing to do.

So why don't we get back to what is important, sharing ideas, and stop this! Do you have any idea how petty this sounds and does anyone have a clue as to how many good contributors this trash has driven away from this site???
