shown on spool. It just always seem it is orange color spool with no number?

From my experience that means it is an applique.It wants you to put your choice of fabric in that spot.

It does what an applique does, but it was a filled design... I have notice this on a couple of others. could it be my machine doesn't recognized the color shade for that paticular color? It did all the others correctly.

It is probably an applique design and in most patterns it means that is the one when you place your fabric down and yes, you can choose whatever color you feel is the best. Color charts are just a guidance that the digitizer gives you so that you can vizualize the design as they did it, you can always change all colors as you please or to match whatever project you are doing.
