ok found the manual on the ult machine it takes the same feet and things as mine same brother card numbers i think it is just me still wondering why something this good could happen to me lol

because bad always happens to me yes i always think the worse when i shouldnt the bipolar in me
I had the ULT2001 and it is a very nice machine. I moved up to the 4000 because it did a few more things but basically they are the same. NICE machine. Have fun with it.

I have a Brother 180D and a Babylock Esante and my Ped basic works on both. I would think it would work on any machine that uses pes designs. Hope this helps

I don't know about Brother machines. I know you said it has a larger hoop. Make sure it has enough other features that make it worth your while to upgrade. Will it take an USB stick? Can you plug your lap top or computer straight to machine? Does it have a color led screen? Does it show the count of stitches and where you are so you can sequence foward or backward? Can you turn the machine off in the middle of a design and start it back up later at same point in the design? Can you make changes to the design and the machine will recalculate the design? These are just a few of my favorite features that I use often.

yes kay it has th efeature to wher eit will even split the design and sew it right oh wow
I have inherited a ULT2001 last year .I do not think that this machine has those features, but it is my first emb. machine and I love it

Mary, I just read the rest of the post. Sounds as if it would be a perfect machine for you. I hope you get it. Keep us posted. I will think positive thoughts for you. I don't know why the lady is getting ride of it. Maybe she is getting a new machine. You might ask her if she has any accessories that she will now longer be able to use. She might even throw them in in the deal. Like extra feet , bobbins or cards for it.
