Do anyone know how to make a casserole dish out of placemates. If so, may I please have a easy instruction layout.

It is two placemats that we buy at a store and sew three sides together after we embroider on the top one. We leave one side open so we can slide in a 9x13 inch casserole dish in. and thats all i know about it lol use velcro to secure the dish from coming out

You are right. Lillian, or lbrow, made several of them. Try to PM her and I bet she'd be glad to tell you how she did them.

Another version is two placemats and make button holes at one end of each and use a wooden spoon handle laced thru to hold them together after inserting dish and put handles with grosgrain or similar on the two long edges to carry it. This works also.
