I have been checking out Ann The Gran since I started with my emb machine. My first free designs were from there. I went and checked it out yesterday, and could not even D/L a freebee, so go figure! I keep getting emails about things she has for sale, and YES, there are not many free designs. You have to be careful there, not all sew out good.

Happy New Year Gerry. I don't find it a bit easier to get the designs. Not really an improvement. You know, if it's not broken, why fix it? BUT there have also been no new designs in a long time. So hopefully they are going back to posting new designs.

I believe it is more confusing. And I too think there seems to be less free. I'm confused about the download symbol. If that is the only free ones, yes there are less. Yesterday I downloaded some that did not have the symbol and were free but that may have been the special 2 week deal that I was given.

where the down symbol is that's the one you click on to down load all other you have to have a membership.

Yes, they have changed the site with the new year. A limited number of designs are now free and they will change which are free periodically. Very sad. It was a great resource. Now you must pay to get all access.

This site isn't easy to get around & is very slow for finding designs & slower for downloading (it took me 3hrs 22 mins to download 12 freebies-far to long). The 10 new designs each week I can't find them so I think u have to pay a full membership to get these. A lot of old freebies aren't any more.

Yes there has been a lot of changes and I for one was very disappointed. I emailed them but the answer I got certainly didn't answer my question about how come designs that used to be free and no longer available free. The membership is quiet expensive and I will not bother about going back again.
This site is still the best on the net and I will be happy to get a membership here because the amount of designs that are available and they all stitch out well is well worth the amount they charge
