I always try to cut away the jumpstitches that form, and this time there was quite a lot. Let me tell you,
The needle broke of at top, and there I stood with needle and cotton through my finger. I will never try to trim jumpstitches again with the machine running. My husband pulled it out with his pliers. Afterwards it was quite a big joke, but I learned my lesson.

yes i have and boy did it hurt split the nail in 1/2s and i had to pull out the thread lol AND about a week later i thought G thats still sore and kinda squeezed the underneath of my finger only to have this very small peice of embroidery needle come out hahahaha i felt really sill as i was only trying to snip a small thread and i didnt think it would go back over that side and i was wrong now i stop the machine first before snipping the threads.hehehehe Oh and not a drop of blood on the embroidery and the design turned out :)
