Thanks for the warm welcomes by all who answered. After downloading I go to open up the design and I'm told there is no program to open the design.

Hi, Rubysgirl! Do you have any kind of embroidery software? In order to open or view the design, you must have some kind of digitizing or viewing software. Otherwise, you will just send it to your embroidery machine, however you do that, usb cable, flash card, etc. Welcome to Cute!! Marji

Hi welcome to the Cutie family. I'm pretty new myself and I've found everyone to be friendly and very helpful. I'm wondering if your a paid member or just a visitor. If your visiting go to the main home page and you'll find several new designs to d/l daily. Just click on the design, wait a few seconds or longer if you have dial up (like me). You'll get a prompt to choose your format and then you can d/l. Have fun....

Welcome. I'm pretty new too but I'm getting the hang of it. When you download your design format don't forget to also check and see if you can download the jpeg format too.

A Big WELCOME to You, and I hope you get able to D/L the designs. They are precious. Do you have a file to unzip designs? I have Winzip, and 4D Extra from Husqvarna. Probably no help. Hahaha! Here's a flower for you.

First welcome to the cute site.......looks like you have some good answers the first prog i ever used was tajima dgml by pulse ambassador and was very easy to use and convert designs and its free so try that once you have d/l it and saved a shortcut to your desktop...once your design is downloaded you can locate it ( easy to make a folder called designs and save them to it then as it grows you can make seperate folders to put them in eg birds, cats etc) once located right click on the design it will say open with scroll to tajima and the program will open the design for you this is how i started hope this helps .... happy stitching :)
