Can the film WWS be hooped by itself? TIA

Yes, it can, although I do it with a thick variety, which does not tear easily, and I add the bit of non slip liner to the long sides of the ring to prevent slipping.

yes, Vilene works better for me than others, here is a link of a real good place to buy, %.00 a yard and you have to buy three or more, it is 59 inches wide, shipping is free and fast, real nice people.

I don't recommend it for a dense design. But if you want to try it, use several layers to prevent tear-through.

I use heavy weight Solvy WSS and it works fine with one layer. However, I use it for free standing Lace. I think the reg. tear a way or cut away would be less expensive for other designs.
