How awful for your son. I never realized how selfish it was to take your own life until one of my dearest friends hung himself. He just has to know that there was NOTHING he could have done. Praying for you both, for when our children hurt, we hurt.

There is no age that would not make this divesting. I feel so bad for anyone that feels this is the only way. It is such a blow and hardship on the ones that cared for him. H&*.

The man was 43 left behind a son, 18 and girls 13 - 8- and 5. Was working 2 jobs and spent all his free time with his kids. Wife asked for divorce, got restraining order so she could have her boyfriends over at any time... and to keep him from seeing his kids accused him of molesting the girls. So sad...I am asking my son to go to a counselor, so he isn't blaming himself. THANX so much for your thoughts, prayers and encouragement.

Iwill add him to my prayer list. But please let him see a councillor or some-one to talk to. I have a son in the police force, and he often sees things like this, and counciling now and then really helps everybody. My prayers goes to everyone involved, and you to. Just be there for him.

Oh Barb that is so terrible. It will be something very difficult for your son to live with, does the police there have grief or trauma counsellors who could speak with him, he most certainly will need it.

I've put a call into the police in the town that it happened in and waiting for a call back...I spoke to my son this a.m. and he said he's OK and IF he needs to talk he promised me he would find a professional.

you have my prayers,i know how it is for your son and how he is hurt,my son has lost 3 friend in 2 years time one of them was this summer and he is still hurting from them all,it will take a long time to get over that,take good care of your son by giving him allot of support and love he will need it
