I hooked one up for fun to see how it works and there were times it kept losing the signal. I had to use the remote control that came with it to program the TV to get reception. I decided to disconnect it for the time being. It well be interesting to see how it will work when the time is right. Who knows I might have to get a dish.

One of my boxes did not work, I call the number on top of the box and they they said they will send somebody to pick it up and send it to the warehouse to be fix or replace, to my surprise, I called yesterday and today UPS came to get the box, now lets wait and see how much longer before I get the new one, with the box you will be able to see lot more channels, the reception is not perfect yet, but it will be. Cable companies are upset because we can see the extra channels...and are trying to canceled them and put them on cable only.*****

Kind of makes you wonder....

we can't get the signals either, BUT, my in laws get the extra channels. they had my nephews promogram the controller for them we are waiting for those kids to come and do ours.....PS YOU HAVE A

Thank you for all your answers, not much for positive things about DTV. I do not think they tryed to work out any bugs before they stuck this to us. I don't know why "If it is not broken, don't fix it." Haha!! I do not know how to get any positive answers about all their problems that they have dumped on us. H&*.

Before I got my box for $10 after the $40 coupon I had zero TV reception. I can't afford a monthly bill for cable or satelite so I hoped this worked for me. Now I get at least 3 channels depending on the weather. It isn't a lot, but it is a lot more than what I used to have. So I love it.
