Many of you follow GM's progress, so I thought I'd post a picture I took last night off of the video camera. My parents and GM got moved up North 9 days ago quite successfully. My DH and I are planning on driving up there Valentine's weekend... I am VERY thrilled we have video cameras so we're able to chat every other day... my GM loves it! My Mom also took the laptop around the facility GM lives in and showed me what it looks like... very cool! I don't feel so separated from them. Anyway, here's a pic from last night... she was so cute sitting close to the screen wanting to make sure she saw everything about me I guess. Hugs! xoxo

It sure is! She wants me to come visit her RIGHT NOW, but I have to explain to her that it's too far to come see her without planning a big trip. I can't wait until Valentine's weekend... I'll make sure to post those pics when I get them. xoxo

Thanks for sharing Teri, it's nice to see a picture of your grandmother. I can understand the video cam makes it easier for you and maybe it makes it easier for QE as well. xoxo Martine

She actually gets so excited to see me. We talk about the same things over and over, but she is having fun...that's what matters most. xoxo

Sounds like things are working out for the move. I know you weren't sure about the move and how you would miss her. Looks like a good way to fill in that gap!

Thank you for keeping us informed. Every time I see a giraffe design, I think of her and of you. Best of everything to both of you. Love, Lois

Thanks Lois... my house is FULL of giraffes... there's not room at her facility for them all, and I just can't part with any of them. hehe... xoxo

Dear Teri,
I'm so glad that "modern communication" has eased your separation from Queen Esther. I hope that you two get to visit a lot! *4U

Teri - how wonderful that you can do this with Queen Esther. This is so special, and such a joy for you to be able to do this, and still enjoy "being" with her. I hope your visit with her is extra special.

Always love to hear news from "The Queen". It is awesome that you have cameras. I was once told,"I'm glad I got to come to your house, cause now it is easier for me to imagine you when I know what your space looks like." So now you can "see" your grandmother better since you are familiar with "her space."
